GV Health in Shepparton is seeking a Customer Service Officer for the Emergency Department to support essential administrative functions. The role involves coordinating patient registration, transfers and triage clerical tasks, and maintaining the Vital database with accuracy.

The successful candidate will handle confidential information, interact professionally with staff and patients, and may support other GV Health areas as required. Flexible shifts and roster coverage are involved.

Formación

• Assistance in the effective running and coordination of clerical support functions in the Emergency Department.
• Demonstrated ability to organise tasks and environment with minimal supervision and under conditions of competing demands
• Capacity to interact professionally with staff and consumers and maintain high levels of confidentiality and patient privacy

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate communication, registration and transfer of patients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform clerical functions at Triage and in the main department.
• Ensure the Vital database is kept up to date and accurate.
• Provide administrative support to other areas within GV Health as needed by the Manager, HIS.
