Job summary

Kainos in Melbourne, Australia seeks a Workday EDM Forward Deployed Engineer (HCM Consultant) to join embedded delivery teams. You will drive hands-on adoption, optimise EDM configurations, and align with client teams to enable sustainable adoption of Workday solutions.

You will bridge client IT/HR with Kainos Customer Success and Product, removing blockers and guiding clients from go-live to high maturity usage while managing multiple accounts concurrently.

Qualifications

• HCM Workday certification with hands-on deployment experience.
• Proven ability to operate inside enterprise customer environments.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and ensuring adoption.
• Strong communication to translate technical detail for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimise EDM & Workday configuration within live customer environments.
• Identify and remediate configuration debt and performance constraints early.
• Resolve complex blockers and support escalation with rich environment context.
• Ensure continuity from implementation into the Forward Deployed engagement.
• Enable client admins through knowledge transfer and reusable templates.
• Provide regular technical health summaries to the Customer Success Manager.
• Guide clients through maturity stages, removing friction to progress levels.
• Define and track account milestones with adoption metrics and usage data.
• Share reusable assets and patterns with fellow Forward Deployed Engineers.
