Job summary

Rheem is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Australia. You will design and develop embedded software for connected water-heating solutions, contributing across the lifecycle from architecture through testing and deployment.

Reporting to the R&D Advanced Controls Manager, you will work in a small, innovative team to deliver scalable, reliable software across product generations, collaborating with stakeholders to shape requirements and drive product innovation.

Qualifications

• Experience developing embedded software.
• Knowledge of RTOS and embedded system design.
• Experience with wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth).
• Familiar with common comms protocols (RS232/RS485/I2C/SPI).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
