Job summary

City of Perth located in Perth CBD seeks an Elizabeth Quay Precinct Manager to lead the strategic, commercial, and operational management of the Elizabeth Quay precinct ensuring safety, vitality, sustainability, and commercial success.

You will coordinate services across multiple City Alliances, engaging with government agencies, tenants, businesses and community groups to deliver high-quality precinct outcomes while reporting to the Head of Property Management within our Properties unit.

Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/orextensive experience in commercial property, precinct, place or asset management.
  • Extensive experience managing precincts, places, property or multi-service environments, supportedby strong commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinatingoutcomes across multiple internal and external serviceproviders.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiationskills, with the ability to engage effectively across thecommunity, public and private sectors.
  • Strong organisational and time managementskills, including the ability to work under pressure andmeet critical deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering the Elizabeth Quay precinct strategy, annual maintenance plan, servicestandards and performance measures;
  • Overseeing precinct operations, assetmanagement, capital works coordination, presentation,safety and amenity;
  • Managing commercial property matters,including leases, licences, rent reviews, easements andother land dealings;
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance theprecinct’s commercial performance, sustainability, customerexperience and long-term value; and
  • Building productive relationships withtenants, private landowners, government agencies, serviceproviders and other precinct stakeholders.

The Opportunity

Under broad direction, the Elizabeth QuayPrecinct Manager is responsible for the strategic, commercialand operational management of the Elizabeth Quay precinct,ensuring it remains a safe, vibrant, sustainable andcommercially successful destination.

Acting as the central point of responsibility forprecinct outcomes, you will coordinate services and prioritiesacross multiple City Alliances while building strongrelationships with government agencies, tenants, businesses,community groups and other key stakeholders.

Reporting to the Head of Property Managementwithin our Properties unit, your responsibilities will primarilyinclude:

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/orextensive experience in commercial property, precinct,place or asset management;

  • Demonstrated experience coordinatingoutcomes across multiple internal and external serviceproviders;

Eligibility

To be eligible to work for us, you will need todemonstrate:

  • A right to work in Australia, such as abirth certificate, current passport or current visa;
  • A current 'C' class Australian driver's licence; and
  • A satisfactory National Police Clearance dated within the past three months.
