Job summary

The City of Rockingham is seeking an experienced Streetscape Supervisor to lead and supervise streetscape maintenance across the City. You will oversee litter management, street sweeping, turf maintenance and presentation of public spaces, coordinating contractors and internal teams to meet service standards.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong stakeholder engagement, budgeting, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising operations maintenance teams and contractors.
• Knowledge of public open space maintenance incl. mowing, litter management and street sweeping.
• Experience developing maintenance programs and schedules.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation, policies and practices.
• Experience managing budgets, contracts and service requests.
• Experience supervising staff, coaching and performance management.
• Experience in procurement and contract administration.
• Diploma or Certificate in Management/Public Open Space Maintenance or related field.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated StreetscapeSupervisor to lead the delivery of streetscape maintenance servicesacross the City. In this hands-on leadership role, you willsupervise operational teams and contractors responsible for littermanagement, street sweeping, turf maintenance and the presentationof public spaces. You will coordinate maintenance programs,monitor service standards, manage contracts and budgets, championworkplace safety culture and provide expert advice to stakeholdersand customers.

To be considered for this role, you must address thefollowing selection criteria as part of your onlineapplication:

• Extensive experience supervising operations maintenanceteams and contractors
• Strong knowledge public open space maintenance includingmowing, litter management and street sweeping services
• Comprehensive knowledge in developing and implementingmaintenance programs and schedules
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and customerservice skills
• Well-developed time management and organisationalskills
• Intermediate level of computer skills
• Well-developed knowledge of WHS legislation, policies andpractices
• Demonstrated experience, managing annual budgets,contracts, service requests
• Experience in employee supervision, coaching andperformance management
• Experience in the procurement and contractadministration
• Diploma or Certificate in Management, Public Open SpaceMaintenance, or a related field, or equivalent experience intoa similar position

We are offering a gross salary package from $102,707 to$110,461 per annum, depending on skills and experienceand:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to afurther 5%
