Job summary

Freighter Group is seeking an experienced Spray Painter for their Direk facility in Australia. The role focuses on premium finishes for large-scale transport equipment, requiring pride in workmanship and specialist experience beyond basic spray work.

Day shift with top pay and overtime opportunities are offered. Ideal candidates will have trade qualifications or equivalent, strong industrial/heavy vehicle painting background, and experience with two-pack systems.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent in spray painting.
• Experience with heavy vehicles, trailers or transport equipment.
• Experience with two-pack paint systems and fibreglass repair/finishing is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• High-quality spray painting on trucks, trailers, and transport equipment
• Surface prep, priming, masking, and finishing to a premium standard
• Working with industrial two-pack systems
• Contributing to builds where quality and durability matter
• Collaborating with skilled trades across the production team
