Job summary

Core Talent in Australia is seeking an experienced industrial spray painter to join our client’s leading manufacturing site in Queensland. You’ll prep surfaces, sand, mask, clean and prime; mix paints and apply to subframes and equipment, and perform final quality checks.

Ideal candidates hold an Australian trade qualification in automotive refinishing, have 3+ years of spray painting experience, and can operate basic hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Australian trade qualification in automotive refinishing (automotive spray painting).
• Industrial spray painting experience 3+ years.
• Basic hand and power tool experience.
• Forklift and/or HR license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prep surfaces: sanding, masking, cleaning and priming.
• Mix paints and apply to subframes and equipment, with even coats.
• Perform final quality checks and touch-ups.

Due to increases in demand for their product they are currently need of an industrial spray painter.

Role

In your role as the spray painter you will be responsible for, prepping all surfaces including sanding, masking, cleaning and priming. You will also be responsible for mixing paint and painting subframes and equipment as well as final quality checks and touch ups.

Requirements

• Australian trade qualification in automotive refinishing (automotive spray painting)
• Industrial spray painting experience ideally 3 + years
• Basic hand and power tool experience
• Forklift and/or HR license will be highly desirable
