Job summary

Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, part of EVT Group, seeks a Conference & Events Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the frontline F&B team across venues and large-scale events. You will actively participate in bump-in/out, ensuring seamless five-star service under pressure in a fast-paced resort setting.

You will oversee guest experiences, supervise staff, and maintain WH&S compliance while supporting cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused hospitality mindset.
• Strong communication skills with guests and team.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in service.
• Creative problem-solving to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Flexible with a 7-day roster including nights and holidays.
• RSA certification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service across all venues.
• Collaborate with the Conferencing Executive Sous Chef on menu details and guest feedback.
• Uphold venue standards and presentation across all service areas.
• Lead and inspire F&B team members for high-performance service.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in service areas and workspaces.
• Promote operational excellence and exceed guest expectations.
• Ensure end-of-shift revenue reporting and cash reconciliations.
• Apply supervisory experience from premium service to improve team performance.
• Comply with WH&S standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Support cross-functional collaboration with other departments.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to ongoing alignment.
• Perform additional duties as directed by leadership.
