Job summary

Otis is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead New Equipment and Modernisation projects at Port Melbourne, Victoria. You will oversee installation teams, drive safety and quality, and ensure projects finish on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Building, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Full Australia working rights and a current driver’s license.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in elevator/escalator or related industries.
• Strong commercial awareness and contract management experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage New Equipment and Modernisation projects per Otis SIP.
• Lead installation teams to meet safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Monitor project programs and ensure site activities align with schedules.
• Attend site meetings and provide leadership to installation teams and subcontractors.
• Plan workforce requirements and allocate resources across projects.
• Recruit, coach, and motivate field teams for high performance.
• Develop relationships with customers, builders, consultants, inspectors, and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, manage risks, and resolve issues proactively.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and safety reports.
