Job summary

Major Training Group is seeking a passionate Electrotechnology Trainer to deliver Public Electrotechnology Short Courses. Whether you’re an experienced trainer or a qualified electrician ready to transition off the tools, this is your opportunity to shape Queensland’s future workforce.

You’ll join a respected RTO delivering practical, engaging training to apprentices at all stages. You’ll mentor, motivate, and educate, connecting theory with hands-on skills in classroom and workshop settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician and have at least four years of industry experience.
• TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or be actively working toward it.
• Experience delivering Certificate III programs is highly valued, but not essential—what matters is your ability to engage, encourage and inspire.
• Additional electrical short courses are encouraged as we broaden training delivery.

• Deliver engaging classroom and workshop-based learning that connects theory with hands-on skills.
• Build student confidence and track progress while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Foster a safe, supportive learning environment where learners can thrive.
