Job summary

Harry the Hirer is seeking an experienced Electronics Service Technician to join our Technical Services team. Based in our Melbourne workshop, you will diagnose, repair, test and maintain professional LED technology including panels, processing, and control systems.

This hands-on role suits a technician who enjoys fault finding, electronics repair, and working with industry-leading LED technology used in entertainment, events, theatre, television, and architectural applications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in electronics repair or technical service.
• Strong fault-finding and electronics skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Experience servicing entertainment LED technology including LED panels, LED processing, and control systems.
• Experience with SMD and GOB systems.
• Experience managing spare parts and service documentation.
• Understanding of Novastar and Brompton control protocols.
• Experience in calibration and managing calibration data for LED systems.
• Trade qualification, Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
