Job summary

RHL Recruitment Australia is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer in Sydney to deliver consumer product designs and robust engineered solutions. You will own the electronics design from concept through to production, balancing performance with safety and environmental impact.

The role requires a degree in Electronics/Mechatronic/Electrical Engineering, ~5 years in product design, rapid prototyping, Arduino/MCU programming, and collaboration with international manufacturers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering with electromechanical experience in product design/manufacturing.
• Experience delivering consumer products or medical devices is preferred.
• Rapid prototyping and hardware-software integration are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Detail design of electronics assembly including schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Prototype construction and supplier coordination for fast turnaround.
• Collaborate with mechanical/industrial design teams and document technical work.
• Support product compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the product roadmap and testing procedures.
