ProFound People is recruiting an RF Electronics Engineer for an Australian defence company in Adelaide. You will own RF/microwave circuit design from architecture through to production, balancing performance with cost and manufacturability.
You will design and validate amplifiers, oscillators, filters and mixers, using CAE tools to model performance before hardware builds, and liaise with mechanical and production teams to enable high-volume manufacture.
An Australian defence company is expanding its engineering team and is now hiring an RF Electronics Engineer to take ownership of RF and microwave circuit design across its product range.
In this role you will own the design, simulation and validation of RF circuits from architecture definition through to production release. You will design and characterise amplifiers, synthesisers, filters and mixers across a broad frequency range, working extensively with CAE and simulation tools to model performance before committing to hardware. Your scope covers interpreting system level requirements and translating them into circuit level specifications, resolving EMC and RFI issues during compliance testing, and working closely with mechanical and production engineering teams to ensure designs transfer smoothly into high volume manufacture. This is a technically broad role suited to someone who enjoys working across the full RF design lifecycle and is comfortable balancing performance, cost and manufacturability within the same design.
This is a full time, Adelaide based role. For interstate candidates, relocation is required. Due to the nature of the work, Australian Citizenship is required.
