Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• High-quality hand soldering skills.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components.
• Experience loading SMT and/or THT components onto PCBs.
• Experience crimping cables and stripping wires.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks to high standards.
• Excellent fine motor skills for precision assembly.
• Experience with hand tools; SMT inspection/rework is a plus.

Electronics Assembler (PCB Process worker)

We are an electronics manufacturer located in the Blacktown / Norwest area seeking an electronics assembler / process worker for manual loading of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) for an IMMEDIATE start.

Key responsibilities

• Hand soldering surface mount and through-hole components onto printed circuit boards
• Basic final assembly of electronic equipment using power tools and/or hand tools
• Manual cable crimping and stripping wires
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Inspection of loaded circuit boards
• Reworking circuit boards using de-soldering tools
• General electronic assembly work on production line

Selection Criteria

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• High-quality hand soldering skills
• Basic knowledge of electronic components
• Previous experience in manual Surface Mount (SMT) and/or Through Hole loading (THT) of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Previous experience crimping cables and stripping wires
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilst maintaining work to a high standard
• Excellent Fine Motor Skills (Ability to handle and assemble precision components)
• Previous experience and competency using hand tools
• Previous SMT Inspection and rework experience advantageous but not essential
