Job summary

Sciban Electronic Security (SES) is a well-established Cairns-based company providing electronic security solutions. We are seeking an experienced Installation Technician to perform IP CCTV, access control and alarm system installations, servicing and commissioning on site in Cairns and surrounding regions.

The role requires 2–5 years of security installation experience, a valid driver’s licence, and appropriate security qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems.
• 2–5 years of Security & Installation Technician experience.
• Valid Queensland Construction Induction Card (White Card) is preferred.
• Certificate III in Security Operations and Security Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Installations, servicing and commissioning of IP CCTV, Access Control and Alarm Systems.
• Communicate with key stakeholders.
• Service all types of alarm systems.
• Demonstrate strong network understanding relevant to managed networks.

• Valid driver's licence
• Minimum 2-5 years of Security & Installation Technician experience required
• Certificate III in Security Operations and Security Licence required
• Valid Queensland Construction Induction Card (White Card) required
• Great knowledge of electronic security systems
• Experienced on the tools
