Job summary

Dyno Nobel is seeking an Electronic Initiation Technician to support and train regional sites on electronic initiation systems, reporting to the Electronic Lead. The role suits an experienced shotfirer, supervisor or mining engineer looking to take their skills to the next level.

You will lead on-site demonstrations, manage detonator conversions and trials, and coordinate resources to boost safety, efficiency and outcomes for customers.

Qualifications

• Excellent facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with electronic initiation systems is highly regarded.
• Shotfirers License, Dangerous Goods Security Card, and National Police Clearance.
• Extensive blasting-related experience and drill & blast knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site training on Electronic Initiation Systems.
• Lead demonstrations and training at customer sites.
• Manage electronic detonator conversions and trials at allocated sites.
