Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III or IV with on‑the‑job training
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience may substitute qualifications

Responsibilities

• Examine and test machines and control systems to diagnose faults
• Repair/replace worn parts and wiring; maintain equipment
• Install/commission control systems and instrumentation
• Advise users on operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
• Apply multidisciplinary knowledge to hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Job Description

Innovative Plastic Solutions Pty Ltd Good understanding of electrical machine drawings/switchgear and control panels. AC/DC variable drive systems PLC and motor control systems Automation, fault finding and upgrades Updating electrical/electronic drawings Elect/Hydraulic/Pneumatic fault finding, preventative maintenance Sound knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Understand and implement OH&S Benefits Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role

Working rights required for this role

Expected salary: $79,600.00 - $90,000.00 per annum

Task & responsibilities

• Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments
• Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
• Receiving messages by interpreting code and converting to plain language, and writing and typing messages for transmission
• Monitoring radio traffic, and transmitting and receiving voice messages
• Installing electronic instruments and control systems
• Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic principles in commissioning and maintaining control systems

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3)
• At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
