RecruitShop in Melbourne is seeking an experienced electrical technician to diagnose, repair and maintain industrial automation equipment. The role focuses on ensuring continuous 24/7 processing, minimizing downtime and improving efficiency while upholding safety standards on site.

The ideal candidate will hold an A-Grade Electrical Licence with 5–8 years in industrial automation and a proven ability to troubleshoot PLCs within manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• 5-8 years' experience in industrial automation/manufacturing.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities with PLCs.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial and automation equipment to ensure continuous 24-hour operations.
• Minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency across site systems.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial and automation equipment, ensuring the reliable performance of systems that support continuous 24-hour processing operations.

This role plays a critical part in minimising downtime, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining the safety and functionality of all electrical and automation systems on site.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (mandatory)
• Minimum 5-8 years' experience in industrial automation and manufacturing environments
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities with PLCs and automation systems
• Strong knowledge of industrial and manufacturing environments
• Motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively within a team
