Job summary

OzStaff is seeking an experienced Assembler / Electronic Product Tester for their Melbourne area client. The role focuses on assembling electronic products, testing performance, and using power tools and hand tools in a manufactured environment.

Key duties include ensuring proper functionality, troubleshooting faulty components, and maintaining safety and quality standards to meet daily production targets. Suitable candidates have hands-on experience and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronic product testing.
• Hands-on with power tools and hand tools.
• Experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing.
• Able to operate drills, screwdrivers and other assembly tools safely.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components and circuits.
• Able to use electronic testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic products and components according to specifications.
• Test electronic products to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Safely operate power tools and hand tools, including drills, screwdrivers, spanners, and other assembly equipment.
• Identify and troubleshoot faulty electronic components.
• Use electronic testing equipment, including multimeters.
• Perform quality checks and inspect finished products.
• Follow assembly instructions, technical drawings, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
