Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking Electricians to join the Maules Creek Mine workshop maintenance team. You’ll perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment, troubleshoot complex electrical systems, and work with a collaborative team to keep the fleet running.

Based at Maules Creek, NSW, the role offers a competitive annual salary of $174,357 plus superannuation, relocation options, and career development opportunities within a company committed to safety and community

Qualifications

• Proficiency Certificate in an electrical trade and/or Supervisor Certificate or Contractors Licence issued by Fair Trading NSW (or mutual recognised equivalent interstate electrical licence)
• Experience in mining, heavy industry or processing plant desirable
• Strong problem solving, diagnostic and fault‑finding skills

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on fixed and mobile equipment
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative workshop maintenance team
• Carry out scheduled servicing and electrical inspections across workshop equipment
• Demonstrate visible safe working practices and a commitment to safety in the workplace
• Work independently to complete assigned work orders and maintenance tasks
