Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a HV/LV Electrical Technician for our Defence division, based across NT locations. The role covers safe operation, maintenance, and repair of HV and LV systems with supervision from the EU Supervisor.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, install and commission systems, keep accurate records, and support continuous improvement while complying with safety and Defence regulations. Australian Citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• HV/LV electrical systems experience is required.
• Trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical work.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on HV and LV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to enable timely resolutions.
• Install and commission HV/LV electrical systems adhering to standards.
• Coordinate with EU Supervisor to prioritise tasks and projects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and inspections.
• Provide technical guidance to team members as required.
• Participate in training to stay updated with industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency.
