QA Electrical is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to join our Warrnambool team as Leading Hand or Electrical Supervisor. Based in Warrnambool, you will lead on-site delivery across the South West, coordinating tradespeople, apprentices and subcontractors while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong commercial service and maintenance experience.
• Experience in Leading Hand or supervisory roles, or readiness to lead.
• Ability to plan, coordinate and manage on-site activities.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to liaise with clients and coordinate works on-site.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site coordination of tradespeople, apprentices, and subcontractors.

About the Role

Based in Warrnambool, you'll support the delivery of electrical service, maintenance and project works throughout Warrnambool and the South West.

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include:

• General commercial electrical service and maintenance
• Fault finding, repairs and reactive maintenance
• Preventative maintenance and compliance works
• Small projects, upgrades and installations
• Leading and coordinating tradespeople, apprentices and subcontractors
• Planning works, allocating labour and coordinating day-to-day job priorities
• Providing technical support across electrical maintenance and installations
• Liaising professionally with clients, stakeholders and other trades
• Completing job records, documentation and reporting through job management systems
• Driving a proactive approach to safety, quality and compliance
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and future works
• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and team members

What We're Looking For

• Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong commercial service and maintenance experience
• Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience, or demonstrated ability and interest in stepping into a leadership role
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Good job planning, coordination and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to confidently liaise with clients and coordinate works on-site
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently while supporting and leading a wider team
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical
• Confidence using job management systems and standard Microsoft applications

Successful applicants must be willing to obtain:

• Current Working With Children Check
• Police Check

Both checks will be arranged and funded by QA Electrical prior to commencement if required.

Highly Regarded

• Open Cablers Licence
• Working at Heights
• EWP Licence, including above and/or below 11 metres
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Experience using AroFlo or similar job management software
• Experience leading crews, allocating labour or coordinating jobs
• Experience supporting apprentices or mentoring junior team members
• Experience with data, communications or EV charging infrastructure
