Job summary

QA Electrical is seeking a Senior Service Electrician to join our Brisbane team. Based from the Banyo office, you’ll service commercial and industrial sites across Brisbane, delivering quality outcomes, building client relationships, and guiding apprentices and junior electricians.

You’ll work across a range of sites completing service, maintenance, fault-finding and minor projects while contributing to the growth of our Brisbane team and national business.

Qualifications

• QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Minimum 5 years post-trade experience preferred
• Strong background in commercial and industrial electrical work
• Advanced fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in the field
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Ability to lead by example and support apprentices and junior team members
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Safety-focused with a positive attitude
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical

About the Role

You’ll be working across a range of commercial and industrial sites, completing service, maintenance, fault-finding and minor project works while supporting the ongoing development of our growing Brisbane team.

Your day-to-day may include:

General electrical service and maintenance

Complex fault finding and troubleshooting

Preventative maintenance, testing and compliance works

RCD testing, emergency lighting and thermal scanning

What we’re looking for

QLD A-Grade Electrical Licence

Current Driver's Licence

Previous Leading Hand or Supervisory experience

Experience with preventative maintenance and service contracts

EWP, Working at Heights and other relevant tickets

Open Cablers Licence

Experience using AroFlo or similar job management software

Experience coordinating small projects or work crews

Sound working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000
