Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interpret and work from detailed electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications to plan installation procedures.
• Prepare and mark reference points for placement of electrical components and systems.
• Assemble, install and connect cables, wires, switchboards and related control devices to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct inspections and use diagnostic instruments to locate and resolve electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Repair, replace, or upgrade defective components, wiring, and circuits to meet safety standards.
• Link electrical networks to the main power supply and verify system integrity through testing.
• Test, calibrate, and fine-tune electrical and mechanical assemblies, including lift systems.
