Job summary

PHILLIP RILEY PROJECTS PTY LTD in Sydney, NSW seeks an Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in maintaining plant, planning maintenance strategies, and implementing improvements within a technical environment.

You will prepare drawings, supervise preventative maintenance, and install improvements on infrastructure such as substations, switches, and motor control systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in a relevant environment or comparable role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to design and implement improvements in electrical processes.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• prepares drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits and stations assisting Engineers and Engineering Team with design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure such as substations, switches, cabling systems and motor control systems
• The planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools
• Executing the designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those plans
• Keeping track and ordering necessary consumables and materials while considering the budget put in place
• Working together with onsite Installers for any alterations needed of installation equipment or tools
• Assembly, Testing, Updates and Monitoring of all electrical equipment and ensuring legal and safety requirements are met.
• Installation of assemblies for protection relays, metering and monitoring devices

Job Description

Phillip Riley are searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the maintenance of plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements within the technical environment.

Your Responsibilities

• prepares drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits and stations assisting Engineers and Engineering Team with design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure such as substations, switches, cabling systems and motor control systems

Salary: $87,500- $107,500 plus superannuation
