Job summary

PHILLIP RILEY PROJECTS PTY LTD is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support maintenance of plant and to plan and implement maintenance strategies and improvements within the technical environment. You will prepare drawings, plan preventative maintenance, and collaborate with installers to ensure compliant electrical installations.

The role requires ability to interpret drawings, use hand/power tools and electrical meters, and to design improvements in electrical processes.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience in a relevant environment or comparable position.
Ability to interpret and draft technical drawings.
Experience using hand and power tools, electrical meters and material handling equipment.
Ability to design and implement improvements in electrical processes.

Responsibilities

Prepares drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuits.
Plans and supervises preventative maintenance of manufacturing machines.
Executes improvements by installation and/or fabrication of plans.
Keeps track of consumables and materials within budget.
Collaborates with onsite installers for alterations to equipment.
Assembles, tests, updates and monitors electrical equipment ensuring safety requirements.
Installs assemblies for protection relays, metering and monitoring devices.
