Job summary

HJR Electrical Services in Melbourne seeks a qualified Electrician to lead residential electrical projects. You will work on a variety of maintenance and construction tasks, run your own jobs, and help train apprentices. A strong focus on safety, quality, and reliability is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Victorian Electrical License and registration.
• Clean full Australian driver’s license.
• Construction (White) Card required.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage jobs.
• Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
• Experience in residential construction and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and complete electrical jobs on residential sites.
• Run own jobs with supervision as needed and train apprentices.
• Ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance on site.

Here’s what we need from you:

• Be a Victorian Qualified and Registered Electrician.
• Have a clean full Australian Drivers license.
• Construction (White) Card

• Honest and trustworthy.
• Experience with both residential construction and maintenance work would help.
• Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.

The following are not essential, but highly regarded:

• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and/or Boom Lift licence
• Working At Heights licence
• Working With Children Check
