Job summary

Ravenhall Group is seeking a motivated A-Grade Electrician for full-time work across Melbourne Metro, with occasional interstate gigs. You will supervise apprentices, work on commercial and residential projects, and hold a valid A-Grade Electrical License and OHS card.

A driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential, with training offered as needed. The company offers a competitive hourly rate, uniform, and a company vehicle after probation, plus ongoing opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• A-Grade electrical license is required for the role.
• Construction OHS Card is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across Melbourne.
• WWCC and police check either completed or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Work on commercial and residential projects as assigned.
• Supervise apprentices and lead by example.
• Work independently when required and meet deadlines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical standards.
• Travel across Melbourne Metro, regional areas, and some interstate gigs.

As an A-Grade Electrician, you will:

Work on new commercial and residential projects effectively. (We rarely do domestic work)

Supervise apprentices and lead by example

Be capable of working independently when required

Possess in-depth knowledge of current electrical standards

Own a full set of tools

Hold a valid A-Grade Electrical License

Hold a Construction OHS Card

Maintain a valid driver's license

Have a valid working with children’s license

Have a valid police check completed or willing to obtain one

Ideally hold any required WHS licenses, otherwise training will be provided.

Have some Data experience.

Not required but desirable:

Have a basic understanding of general I.T. tasks

Have a background in CCTV and security systems (We can train you up if you want to go down this path)

Experience in Access control systems.

While our office/warehouse is based in Laverton North, your work will take you all over Melbourne Metro, some regional areas, and the occasional interstate gig.

Currently we have a demand for an eastern based electrician for projects in Blackburn and Bullen, but candidates from all over Melbourne are welcome.
