Job summary

Opal ANZ in Western Australia is seeking an Electrician to join the afternoon shift at the Spearwood site. You will work on electrical systems, drives, and PLCs while ensuring safe operations and compliance with WHS standards. This role requires an Electrical A grade licence and good IT/telecom knowledge.

Strong teamwork, quick learner mentality, and basic SAP/database familiarity are highly valued as the company pursues innovative, sustainable packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Electrical A grade Licence is required.
• Knowledge & experience in safe working practices/procedures.
• Be a supportive team member with great work ethic.
• PLC knowledge is advantageous.
• Quick learner.
• Computer literacy with basic word processing and databases; SAP experience is highly regarded.

Opal ANZ is an industry-leading paper and packaging business. We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest packaging companies in Australia as our Spearwood site is looking for an Electrician join the afternoon shift team!

They key responsibilities for this position include (but are not limited to):

• Knowledge and experience with powered drives.
• Excellent understanding of WHS and Electrical isolation.
• IT and telecommunication Knowledge.
• Reading and understanding of Electrical schematics and drawings.

For this role we would ideally like you to have:

• Electrical A grade Licence Holder (this is required)
• Knowledge & experience in safe working practices/procedures

• Quick learner
• Computer Literacy – be able to operate basic word processor and databases (experience using SAP would be highly regarded, but is not mandatory)
