Job summary

E.C. Throsby, a leader in beef processing and distribution, is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Young, NSW. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, work across varied systems and equipment, and cover multiple shifts with weekend overtime as required.

We value longevity and a permanent role with career prospects. Be prepared to work as part of a team, unsupervised, and help other maintenance staff. An EWP/Forklift license and heights training are a plus.

Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. You will beworking with varied systems and processing equipment. You will be required to work a number of different shifts to cover all production shifts. Weekend Overtime maintenance will be required from time to time.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience within a food production environment is highly advantageous, but not a prerequisite.

Preferred skill set

Installation of electrical equipment and systems

Advanced fault finding skills

You will be required to undertake a six-month probation period with a review upon completion.

We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $44- $57 per hour based on skill and experience.
