Job summary

Core Talent Pty Ltd in NSW is recruiting an Electrician to work on a utility-scale solar farm. You’ll operate and maintain the site, performing preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to maximise performance and safety, with a local 38-hour week and potential overtime.

Training is provided to specialise in solar farm operations. The role requires an Electrical Licence (Grade A) or Cert III in Electrotechnology, plus MV/HV switching experience or qualifications, and prior experience on

Qualifications

• Current Grade A Electrical Licence or Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
• MV/HV switching experience or qualifications.
• Experience on utility-scale solar, wind or BESS projects.

Responsibilities

• Electrical fault finding, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Testing and maintenance of PV systems and associated equipment.
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to site alarms.
• Supporting SCADA monitoring and performance reporting.
• MV/HV switching operations (where authorised).

Electrician – Utility Scale Solar Farm

$135-140k + super (contract considered at $65ph)

Overtime earnings upwards of $190k inclusive

38 hour week

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Electrician and keen to be trained to work on Solar Farms? No prior solar experience needed, just a local Electrician who is keen to learn and grow with a leading Energy business.

We're partnering with a leading renewable energy business to recruit an Electrician for a utility-scale solar farm in Wellington, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing industry, working on critical renewable energy infrastructure where you'll play a key role in maintaining plant performance, reliability and safety.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the solar farm, carrying out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure maximum site performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Electrical fault finding, inspections and preventative maintenance
• Testing and maintenance of PV systems and associated equipment
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to site alarms
