Job summary

Solarig is seeking an Electrician to join our Mildura team for full-time operation and maintenance of our solar farm. The role offers a safety-focused environment, regular Monday–Friday schedule with an on-call roster and a 38-hour week, and the opportunity for career growth in the expanding renewable energy sector.

You will hold an unrestricted electrical license (VIC), high voltage qualification is highly regarded, and you’ll work with CMMS systems, perform preventive and corrective

About the Role:

As anElectrician with Solarig, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our solar farm. This full-time role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, safety-focused environment, withexcellent career growth potential in the rapidly expanding solar industry.

Roster:

5 days a week

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (38 hours per week)

Must participate onOn-call roster

(Please note these positions are not FIFO or DIDO and must have unrestricted electrical license)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform any electrical and communications intervention and/or corrective action and advance preventive activities
• Supervision, planning and coordination of the maintenance tasks
• Supervision of the operation of the plant
• work requests completion and reporting
• Comply and adhere to all work, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Environmental works
• report any incident
• Responsible for carrying out electrical and communication works
• Cleaning and inspection of the asset and infrastructures
• Utilize CMMS and manage, complete work orders
• Responsible for the scheduled maintenance
• Participate On-call roster

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking areliable, safety-focused Electrical Tradesperson who can take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team. You should have:

• Unrestricted Class Electrical License (VIC) (Required)
• High Voltage Switching Qualification (High desirable)
• Work safely in the construction industry Card (Required)
• Low Voltage Rescue Training (Required)
• CPR Training (Required)
• A validDriver’s License

Additionally, you must be:

Committed tosafety and compliance with all WH&S regulations

Proactive with a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills

A team player withstrong communication skills and acan-do attitude
