Job summary

JTMEC, part of the Epiroc Group, is seeking an experienced Underground Electrician for our West Coast Tasmania operations. This permanent full-time role offers a 7/7 dayshift roster, potential overtime, and ongoing training within a supportive team environment.

You must hold a Tasmanian Electrical Licence, be local or willing to relocate, and demonstrate fault-finding skills and ability to read drawings. Commitment to zero-harm safety is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current TAS Electrical Licence is required.
  • Live in Tasmania or be willing to relocate.
  • Strong fault-finding ability and ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Commitment to a ZERO harm safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance and repair in underground mining environments on the West Coast of Tasmania.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics to diagnose faults.
  • Work collaboratively in a team and independently, ensuring safety and quality standards.

We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Underground Electrician to join our high performing team based on the West Coast of Tasmania. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and motivated individual to secure long term work whilst earning above award rates.

WHAT YOU’LL REQUIRE
  • Current TAS Electrical and Driver's Licence
  • Live locally in Tasmania or be willing to relocate
  • Commitment to a ZERO harm culture
  • Excellent understanding of electrical standards
  • Strong fault-finding ability and ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Self-motivated who is reliable, honest and takes pride in your work
  • Ability to work both as a member of a team, as well as independently
