Ventia is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team at BlueScope Steelworks, Port Kembla, supporting maintenance activities at the No.5 Blast Furnace.
In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, repair and replacement activities to ensure the ongoing integrity, reliability and performance of plant and equipment.
This is a great entry into Ventia - one of Australia's largest essential infrastructure providers in Australia and New Zealand. For more than 20 years, Ventia has had a longstanding relationship with BlueScope in the Illawarra region of NSW, providing plant maintenance, engineering and project services and a skilled workforce for numerous BlueScope projects, as well as fabrication facilities. We have recently renewed our contract with BlueScope for maintenance services with the addition of fire services at BlueScope's Port Kembla Steel Works.
