Brooks Hire in Australia invites a qualified Electrician to join our Kewdale branch. You will install, maintain, test and repair electrical systems in workshop and field environments, aligning with Australian standards and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Electrotechnology (Electrician) required.
• Current Electrical Licence, A-Class preferred.
• Experience in a similar electrical role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• C-Class Driver’s Licence required; forklift/high-risk licences desirable.
• Ability to pass medical including drug/alcohol screening.
• Hands-on, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in workshop and field environments.
• Work on generators, dewatering systems, and low-voltage controls.
• Diagnostics, fault finding, and breakdown repairs.
• Ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety requirements.

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Electrician to join our team at our Kewdale branch. This is a hands‑on role for a licensed tradesperson responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in line with Australian standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in workshop and field environments
• Work on generators, dewatering systems, and low‑voltage control systems
• Perform diagnostics, fault finding, and breakdown repairs
• Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical standards and safety requirements
• Support and assist in training apprentices
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
