Job summary

Yoko Electrical Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis in Sydney, NSW. You will install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with Australian electrical standards and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent, with practical experience and a valid licence (desirable).

Qualifications

• Certificate III or equivalent qualification, or 3 years Electrician experience if no formal qualification.
• Australian electrical licence or registration desirable but not mandatory.
• Practical knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance and fault finding.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical instructions.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, power outlets, switchboards and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs.
• Install and connect electrical circuits, switches, circuit breakers and other components.
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Use electrical tools and testing equipment to check installations and identify faults.
• Work with other electricians, contractors, and tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and ensure work complies with Australian standards and regulations.
