Job summary

Detector Inspector is seeking a self-motivated electrician to join our residential compliance team. You will perform safety inspections, testing and repairs for 240V and 9V smoke alarms, plus RCD testing and system upgrades.

Based across Penrith with travel, opportunities may exist for regional work and after-hours service with additional allowances and bonuses. A strong safety mindset and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence is required.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel across Penrith.
• Occasional after-hours availability is advantageous.
• Comfortable using smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electrical safety inspections, maintenance and testing of 240V and 9V smoke alarms (including replacements).
• Perform RCD testing and replacement.
• Carry out electrical repairs, installations and system upgrades.
• Execute property compliance checks including minimum standards and corded blind safety inspections.
• Provide a broad range of residential safety and compliance services.

About the Role

We're looking for a self-motivated, experienced electrician to join our growing residential compliance team.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Electrical safety inspections, maintenance, and testing of 240V and 9V smoke alarms (including replacements)
• RCD testing and replacement
• Electrical repairs, installations, and system upgrades
• Property compliance checks, including minimum standards checks and corded blind safety inspections
• A broad range of residential safety and compliance services
• As our services expand, there may be opportunities to move into other areas of the business, including split system and ducted air-conditioning install, service, and maintenance.
• As we grow, there's real scope to broaden your responsibilities and build a long-term career with us.

Based across Penrith, with travel required.

Opportunities may also be available for regional work and after-hours services, with additional allowances and bonuses available where applicable.
