Job summary

Detector Inspector is seeking a self-motivated electrical contractor to perform maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, 9V battery detectors, and RCD testing in DHA properties. The role is based in Penrith with travel to surrounding areas as required.

Qualifications

• Hold NSW Electrician’s A Grade Licence.

• Strong customer and safety focus; comfortable using smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and test 240V smoke detectors and 9V battery detectors.
• Test and replace RCDs in DHA properties.
• Travel to Penrith and surrounding areas as required.

About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced electrical contractor to carry out maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, as well as some 9V battery-powered detectors, and to test and replace RCDs in residential DHA (Defence Housing Australia) properties. The work is primarily based in Penrith, with travel to surrounding areas as required—so a willingness to travel and a genuine enjoyment of driving is essential.

• Flexible work hours, with 5 days per week available.

• $60 per hour using the company vehicle OR $70 per hour using your own vehicle.

What we are looking for:

• Holda NSW Electrician’sA GradeLicence
