Job summary

Delaware North at Lizard Island Resort is seeking a full-time Electrician to maintain building, plant, and equipment on-site at Lizard Island Resort. You will work with the Maintenance Team to ensure safety and efficiency across property electrical systems, performing preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.

The role requires a QLD Electrical License or the ability to obtain one, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously or in a team.

What will you do?

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily maintenance tasks for all property equipment and services, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
• Repair, alter, and maintain site electrical services and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Manager to ensure proper maintenance of all plant and equipment, including recording completed and incomplete maintenance tasks and generating necessary reports
• Conduct small projects and address daily maintenance needs across the property to uphold operational efficiency
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including adherence to preventative schedules and compliance with workplace health and safety standards

More about you
