JLE Group’s Manufacturing & Hire division in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Electrical Workshop Manager to lead our workshop teams and oversee high voltage electrical equipment for major projects. You will drive planning, budgeting, and resource coordination to ensure quality and profitability.

You’ll manage workshop supervisors, report on progress and costs, and ensure safety and compliance across projects.

Qualifikationen

• Electrical qualification required.
• 7–12 years’ experience in the trade.
• Experience in workshop management and project coordination.
• Understanding and/interoperating relevant Standards and Codes of Practice.
• OH&S training/compliance.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage JLE Workshop Supervisors and project teams to deliver outcomes.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, end-of-month invoicing, budget forecasts.
• Coordinate material and subcontractor procurement within tender budgets.
• Ensure safety, quality testing, and proper documentation control across projects.
• Liaise with management and clients on planning costs and quality for projects.
• Oversee stock procurement and long lead-item planning.
