Qualifications

• Queensland Electrical Mechanic License is required.
• Civil, subdivision, private network or street lighting experience or willingness to move into it.

Responsibilities

• Install site switchboards, pillars, conduits, cabling, street lights and NBN equipment.
• Organise and coordinate trenching, scheduling machinery and crews to keep civil works ahead of electrical.
• Liaise daily with site supervisors, builders and other trades to keep works sequenced and on program.
• Work with engineers and advisers on private HV network and battery system installations.
• Read and work from civil and electrical drawings, flag issues early.
• Keep site paperwork, pre starts and job records up to date.
• Take ownership of site quality, safety and presentation.
