You will assist electricians, prepare tools and materials, learn safety procedures, operate basic workshop machinery, and help maintain order in the workshop. A reliable, detail-oriented mindset and good teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified electricians with assembly of electrical switchboards
• Preparing work areas, tools, and materials for electrical work, ensuring a clean, safe and organised environment
• Learning and applying electrical safety procedures and compliance with regulations and standards
• Operating basic workshop machinery and hand tools (grinders, pneumatic tools, drills etc)
• Maintaining and organising tools and equipment, ensuring good working order
• Loading/unloading deliveries, moving materials, assisting to install electrical equipment
• Communicating effectively with team members to meet project requirements
• Contributing to a positive, safety-focused workplace culture

Working alongside experienced electricians, you will gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of switchboard manufacturing.
