Job summary

Liebherr-Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical Technician for Peak Downs Mine Site in Australia. The role offers a 7/7 roster with days and nights, and the chance to work with advanced mining equipment from a global OEM.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure safe, compliant maintenance across Liebherr’s site equipment. A strong safety focus and hands-on technical growth are key.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Australian Trade Qualification.
• Electrical Licence coupled with High Voltage Certification is required.
• Previous haul truck experience is essential.
• High Risk Work Licences – LF, DG and EWP are desirable.
• Working at Heights Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults on site.
• Identify faults across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.
• Carry out repairs and servicing across all site OEM equipment.
• Safely operate workshop equipment and lifting gear.
• Deliver safe, efficient and compliant maintenance and component replacement services.
• Build strong working relationships through teamwork and quality.

Education

Australian Trade Qualification

Electrical Licence with High Voltage Certification

High Risk Work Licences – LF (Forklift), DG (Dogging) and EWP (Elevated Work Platform)

Working at Heights Certificate
