Job summary

Liebherr Australia is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Peak Downs Mine Site team, working a 7 days on / 7 days off roster, rotating days and nights. You’ll diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on site OEM equipment while delivering safe, compliant maintenance and component replacement services.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you’ll build strong relationships, develop your technical expertise and progress within a global OEM renowned for engineering

Qualifications

• Recognised Australian Trade Qualification.
• Electrical Licence with High Voltage Certification.
• Experience with haul trucks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults.
• Identify and diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.
• Carry out repairs and servicing across all site OEM equipment.
• Safely operate workshop equipment, including mobile lifting equipment.
• Deliver safe, efficient and compliant maintenance and component replacement services.
• Build strong working relationships through trust, teamwork and a commitment to quality.

Reporting to the Customer Support Manager, you'll play a vital role in keeping our equipment performing at its best, delivering safe, efficient and compliant diagnostic, maintenance and component replacement services.

What You'll Be Doing

As a valued member of our site team, you will:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults.

• Identify and diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a technically capable tradesperson who takes pride in their work, values safety and enjoys the challenge of working with advanced mining equipment.

Essential requirements:

• Recognised Australian Trade Qualification.

• Electrical Licence coupled with High Voltage Certification.

• Previous haul truck experience.

Highly regarded:

• High Risk Work Licences – LF (Forklift), DG (Dogging) and EWP (Elevated Work Platform).

• Working at Heights Certificate.
