Job summary

BGIS Technical Trade Services is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across client sites in Cardiff and surrounding NSW. You will work on emergency lighting, switchboards and HV infrastructure, supported by a modern company vehicle and quality tools.

You'll join an experienced team, mentoring apprentices and ensuring safety, quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Electrotechnology required.
Qualified Supervisor's Licence required.
White Card (General Construction Induction Card).
Current Australian Driver's Licence required.
Experience in commercial maintenance or service-based electrical environments.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Planned and reactive electrical maintenance and repairs.
Maintenance and testing of emergency lighting systems.
Fault finding and rectification of electrical systems and switchboards.
Completing work orders and maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
Assisting with mentoring and development of apprentices.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with standards and compliance.
Participating in an on-call roster as required.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining customer relationships.
