Job summary

Dynamo Services NSW Pty Ltd T/A ATF Reid Family Trust is seeking an electrician to service, fault-find and commission diesel generators, hybrid power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Mulgrave, NSW. The role requires reading electrical drawings, collaborative work, and a strong commitment to safety.

You will support integration of diesel generation with battery storage, renewables, and control systems, while assisting with mechanical tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence (essential)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and control circuits
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional communication and customer service skills
• Experience within the power generation, industrial electrical or emergency power sectors (desirable)
• Experience with diesel generators, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), generator control systems and emergency power systems (desirable)
• Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), hybrid power systems, renewable energy integration, inverters and Battery Management Systems (BMS) (desirable)
• Understanding of microgrids, energy management systems, power conversion equipment and distributed energy resources (desirable)
• Experience with commissioning, testing and fault-finding of integrated power generation and energy storage systems (desirable)
• Dual trade qualifications or mechanical industry experience (highly regarded)

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, repair and commission diesel generators, hybrid power systems and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Install, test, diagnose and fault-find electrical power generation, energy storage and emergency power systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and control circuits; ensure safety and compliance.
