Job summary

SIMPEC Pty Ltd, a diversified services provider, invites an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our on-site team at the McArthur River Mine project in the Northern Territory. You will lead daily electrical works and safety initiatives in a remote mining environment.

Role focuses on coordinating crews, equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS 3000, and mentoring field staff to uphold a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• NT Electrical License (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
• Low Voltage Rescue & Provide CPR Certification.
• First Aid Certificate (desirable).
• A minimum 4 years industry experience in a Supervisory role.
• Sound understanding of WHS legislation and risk management.
• Ability to lead by example and promote a positive safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily works, including quality inspections, daily progress reporting and safety leadership activities.
• Coordinate work crews, plant, equipment, and materials to achieve operational outcomes and targets, safely.
• Mentor, engage and motivate the work crews through effective and proactive communication.
• Review work packaging and detailed planning.
• Compliance with relevant electrical safety standards, such as AS/NZS 3000.
