Responsibilities

Electrical Supervisor| Leading Industrial Manufacturing Company | $70 - $80 per hour + Super + Vehicle

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a leading industrial manufacturing business that has recently made significant investment into its site, equipment and operations.

This is a key leadership position, overseeing a team of electricians and apprentices while driving electrical maintenance performance across the facility.
You will take ownership of day-to-day planned preventative maintenance and breakdown activities, ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.

The role offers a genuine mix of hands-on technical involvement and team leadership, giving you the opportunity to remain connected to the tools while developing and managing your team.

Key Responsibilities

• As the Electrical Supervisor you'll lead, mentor and develop a team of qualified electricians and apprentices.
• The Electrical Supervisor will coordinate and oversee daily electrical maintenance activities across the manufacturing facility.
• This Electrical Supervisor will drive planned preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• As the Electrical Supervisor you'll manage electrical breakdowns, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure production interruptions are kept to a minimum.
• This Electrical Supervisor will provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team, getting hands-on when required.
• As the Electrical Supervisor you'll prioritise maintenance tasks and allocate resources to meet operational requirements.
• This Electrical Supervisor will work closely with production and maintenance management to improve plant performance and equipment reliability.
• As the Electrical Supervisor you'll ensure all electrical work is completed in accordance with relevant safety standards, procedures and regulations.

To be successful in this position, you will ideally have:

• A current and unrestricted Electrical License.
• Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising a team of electricians and apprentices.
• Strong technical capabilities across electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdowns.
• Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• The ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership and coordination responsibilities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across production and maintenance teams.
• A proactive approach to safety, equipment reliability and continuous improvement.
