Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor for a short-term industrial project in Gladstone, QLD, involved in testing and commissioning of high-voltage assets. Lead a small team of 3-4 electricians, coordinating with site management.

1-month project starting early September, FIFO from Brisbane available, 12-hour days, and a flat rate of $80-$90 per hour. Residential/commercial backgrounds are not considered; strong HV background and ability to work with

Qualifications

• Current HV Electrical Licence - Preferred.
• Experience as an Electrical Supervisor in an industrial environment.
• Experience with HV testing and commissioning.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a small electrical team.
• Strong safety awareness.
• Project management experience highly regarded.
• Ability to work collaboratively with site management, contractors and client representatives.

• Conduct daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings.
• Complete daily site reports and project documentation.
• Coordinate work groups and site activities.
• Liaise with site management and representatives.
• Coordinate and oversee HV testing and commissioning activities.

Engineering Trades Australia is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a short-term industrial project in Gladstone, QLD, working on the testing and commissioning of high-voltage electrical assets. This is an opportunity for an experienced electrical supervisor with a strong industrial/HV background to lead a small team of 3-4 electricians and coordinate works directly with site management. About the Role

• 1-month project, with a further project phase expected
• Start:1st/2nd week of September
• $80-$90/hr Flat
• FIFO Opportunity from Brisbane

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings
• Complete daily site reports and project documentation
• Coordinate work groups and site activities
• Liaise with site management and representatives
• Coordinate and oversee HV testing and commissioning activities
• Conduct close-out meetings
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and project requirements

About You

To be successful, you will have:

• Current HV Electrical Licence - Preffered
• Experience as an Electrical Supervisor in an industrial environment
