Job summary

Downer is offering a Site Engineer opportunity supporting safe, compliant and efficient delivery of electrical engineering activities for Downer’s APLNG works. You’ll assist the Project Engineer with technical documentation, field verification and construction support, while developing under supervision in line with Downer and customer requirements.

The role involves working on an 18/10 roster, FIFO from Brisbane to the Surat Basin with transport, meals and accommodation provided, and aims to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent recognised in Australia.
• Eligibility for graduate membership of Engineers Australia.
• Graduate or early-career electrical engineering experience, up to three years.
• Experience in Oil & Gas would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Engineer and project team with technical documentation.
• Perform field verification and construction support.
• Support commissioning preparation and quality records.
• Ensure engineering assurance aligns with project controls and standards.
